With its vacation-worthy weather and long days, July is the perfect time for grilling outdoors. There’s nothing better than a tasty seafood roll or a grill-charred hot dog at the peak of summer. Maybe that’s why July is National Hot Dog Month (more on that later).
If you’re planning on grilling up some hotdogs or sausages this summer, Martin’s® Long Potato Rolls are the perfect roll for you—and the perfect counterpart to Martin’s Sandwich Potato Rolls for all your burger and barbecue options.
Our potato rolls have a soft texture and sturdy structure that holds up to heavy toppings (like a hot dog topped with sauerkraut or relish), and their buttery sweetness adds the perfect contrast to salty and savory foods (like your favorite grilled meats).
Read more about this month’s featured product below, including highlights from some restaurants serving it on their menus, and a month’s worth of delicious recipes for you to try!
About Martin’s Long Potato Rolls
As with our other potato roll products, our Long Potato Rolls are made with a mixture of potato flour and high protein wheat flour, which provides the subtle sweetness and soft, squishy texture that our fans have come to know and love. In addition, our use of high quality ingredients (in all of our products) guarantees a more nutritious product than many of the options on your grocery store shelf.
Martin’s Long Potato Rolls are one of the top-selling hot dog buns in the country, and our second most popular product, after our Sandwich Potato Rolls. They also are a top choice for chefs and restaurants, particularly hot dog carts, food trucks, and fast-casual establishments.
Check out some yummy restaurant creations using Martin’s Long Potato Rolls at the bottom of this blog!
But Martin’s Long Potato Rolls aren’t just for hotdogs! Try using them for lobster or seafood salad rolls, mini subs and hoagies, or sausages and bratwurst.
Fun Fact: Martin’s also produces a top-sliced version of our Long Potato Rolls (similar to New England-style rolls), which is available for restaurants and food service use.
