When the teams are tied in the 4th quarter or a tough call is made, sometimes a good snack can help lighten the moment when you’re on the edge of your seat.

Meet jalapeño popper’s cool younger cousin – the Jalapeño Popper Football Cheese ball! Everyone will love the effort you put in to make this themed and tasty snack (which, actually, doesn’t take much effort at all).

To prepare, simply mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, pickled jalapeño, garlic powder, salt, and green onion and shape into a football. Then, cover with green onion, parsley, diced fresh jalapeño, bacon, and slices of cheese shaped into laces. Refrigerate for a few hours (or overnight) to set, and serve cold with Martin’s Toast Crackers.
