You’ve probably seen these over-the-top shakes at some kind of burger and ice cream restaurant in your lifetime. These “exploding” milkshakes have essentially two purposes: to be eye-catching and mouthwatering.
Three Variations:
Exploding French Toast Milkshake
We couldn’t hardly make an over-the-top ice cream creation without including one of our favorite sweet treats—French toast! This piled-high sundae is filled with a vanilla milkshake, a scoop of strawberry ice cream, and caramel sauce. Then, it’s decorated with hazelnut spread, whipped cream, sprinkles, fruit skewers, and pieces of Martin’s Maple Brown Sugar Swirl French toast dipped in powdered sugar!

Exploding S’mores Milkshake
Consider this milkshake the cool-down version of one of our favorite summer treats: s’mores! This summer-inspired snack is filled to the brim with a chocolate milkshake and garnished with hot fudge, sprinkles, chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs, whipped cream, a maraschino cherry, and a s’more crostini—a flattened Party Potato Roll topped with marshmallow fluff, hazelnut spread, and graham cracker crumbs.

Exploding Vanilla Sprinkles Milkshake
Are you a fan of vanilla cake? Or the classic vanilla sundae with sprinkles? This last milkshake is the one for you! For this variation, we combined a vanilla milkshake, vanilla icing, rainbow sprinkles, whipped cream, and strawberry topping for one tasty treat! But, we’re not done; finish off this masterpiece with a party roll ice cream sandwich and a cherry on top!
