Raspberry Walnut Stuffed French Toast

1 Martin’s Hoagie Roll

2 Large Eggs

2 Tablespoons Milk

2 Ounces Cream Cheese, softened

1 Teaspoon Sugar

1 Tablespoon Butter

2 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar

10 Fresh Raspberries

1/4 Cup Walnuts

1/4 Cup Maple Syrup

Serves: 2


Step 1

Separate the Martin’s Hoagie Roll (top and bottom) and place both halves on a flat surface. Flatten them slightly with a rolling pin.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sugar. Spread this mixture over half of each roll. Fold to close.

Step 3

In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.

Step 4

Dip rolls into the egg mixture, flipping to coat both sides.

Step 5

Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Place French Toast in skillet and cook on both sides until lightly browned.

Step 6

Place French Toast on individual plates. Dust with powdered sugar. Top with fresh raspberries, walnuts, and maple syrup.
