“Everything Bagel” French Toast

For Everything Bagel Seasoning
2 Tablespoons Poppy Seeds
2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds (white or black)
1 Tablespoon Dried Minced Garlic
1 Tablespoon Dried Minced Onion
2 Teaspoons Course Sea Salt
For French Toast:
6 Slices Martin’s Potato Bread
2 Eggs
1/4 Cup Milk or Cream
2 Tablespoons Butter
Cream Cheese, for serving
Serves: 3
Directions
Step 1
Prepare Everything Bagel Seasoning: In a small bowl, combine the poppy seeds, sesame seeds, dried garlic, dried onion, and salt. Mix to combine. Store in a jar with lid.
Step 2
Melt 1 tablespoon butter on a large skillet or nonstick pan over medium heat.
Step 3
In a shallow dish, whisk together milk, eggs, and Everything Bagel Seasoning.
Step 4
Dip bread in egg mixture, flipping to coat both sides.
Step 5
Fry bread until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with remaining slices, working in batches if necessary.
Step 6
Serve French toast with cream cheese spread.
