45 Mins

Ingredients

Caramelized Onions:

1 Large Sweet Onions, thinly sliced

3 Tablespoons Butter

3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar

4 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

Salt and Black Pepper, to taste

Roast Beef Sliders:

2 Pounds of Roast Beef, thin sliced

1/2 Pound Havarti Cheese, sliced

Mayonnaise, to taste

1 Package Martin’s Sweet Dinner Potato Rolls (12 Rolls)

1 Tablespoon Butter, melted (for brushing buns)

Poppy Seeds if desired

Serves: 12

Directions

Step 1: Prepare Caramelized Onions

In a large skillet, butter over medium heat.

Step 2

Once the butter is melted, add the sliced onions.

Step 3

Stir the onions occasionally with a wooden spoon. Cook for about 10 minutes on medium heat until the onions are soft and nicely golden brown in color. Add the brown sugar, salt and pepper. Season with Worcestershire sauce. Remove from the heat.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 5: Prepare Roast Beef Sliders

Cut Martin’s Sweet Dinner Potato Rolls in half.  Place the bottom halves of the buns on a lightly greased half sheet pan and toast in oven for 7-10 minutes until lightly toasted. Remove from oven. Spread with mayonnaise. Top buns with sliced roast beef. Spoon caramelized onions over the roast beef. Top with slices of cheese. Add the tops of the rolls and brush with butter and sprinkle with poppyseeds if desired.

Step 6

Cover entire sheet pan with aluminum foil. Bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake until the cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.

Step 7

Let cool a few minutes before serving.
