1 Tablespoon Onion Powder

Cajun Mayo

1/3 Cup Mayonnaise

1 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice

1 Teaspoon Cajun Seasoning

1 Teaspoon Hot Pepper Sauce

Serves: 4

Directions

Step 1

Make blackening rub by mixing oregano, thyme, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl. Set aside.

Step 2

Make Cajun mayo by adding mayonnaise, lemon juice, Cajun seasoning, and hot pepper sauce to a medium bowl and mixing well until fully incorporated. Set aside.

Step 3

To make burgers, heat your skillet or grill to medium-high heat.

Step 4

Form four patties and dredge each in the blackening rub, making sure they are completely seasoned on all sides.

Step 5

Grill each burger to your desired doneness, adding blue cheese on top of patties toward end, cover to allow cheese to melt.

Step 6

Assemble burgers by placing lettuce on bottom bun. Top with tomato, and pickled white onions and burger.

Step 7

Spread a generous amount of prepared Cajun mayo to the top bun and then top the burger.

Step 8

Serve and enjoy!
