Tuna Burgers

1 1/2 Cups Bread Crumbs (from toasted Martin’s bread)

1 Large Egg, lightly beaten

1/2 Cup Celery, diced

1/3 Cup Mayonnaise

1/4 Cup Onion, diced

2 Tablespoons Chili Sauce

3 (4 oz.) Cans Light Tuna In Water, drained

2 Tablespoons Butter

4 Martin’s 12-Sliced (Slider) Potato Rolls

Lettuce, optional

Tomato, optional

Serves: 4


Step 1

Using a food processor, pulse toasted bread into bread crumbs. (You can use any Martin’s product such as Old-Fashioned Real Butter Bread or 100% Whole Wheat Potato Bread.)

Step 2

In a medium bowl, mix together egg, breadcrumbs, celery, mayonnaise, onion, and chili sauce. Add tuna and fold to combine. Shape into four equal sized patties.

Step 3

In a large skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Cook patties until lightly browned, 4-5 minutes per side. Serve on Martin’s 12-Sliced (Slider) Potato Rolls, topped with lettuce and tomato if desired.
