Peanut Butter, Date, Honey & Banana Sandwiches
2 Slices Martin’s Whole Wheat Potato Bread (or 1 Martin’s 12-Sliced Slider Potato Roll)
1-2 Tablespoons Chunky Peanut Butter
2 Dates, pitted and chopped
1/2 Banana, sliced
1 Teaspoon Honey
Spread peanut butter onto one slice of bread (or one side of a roll) leaving a ¼” margin between the edge. Top evenly with chopped dates and banana slices. Drizzle honey over the top.
Place second slice of bread on top (or top half of roll). Press gently around the edges to adhere the sandwich together and seal the edges. (Alternately, you can trim the crust from the bread then use a fork or spoon to crimp the edges fully. See our PB&J Pockets for an example.)
