4 Slices Martin’s Potato Bread

2 Hot Dogs

Canola Oil, for frying

Wooden Skewers, for frying

Ketchup, for serving

Mustard, for serving

Serves: 2


Step 1

In a tall pot or deep fryer, heat oil to 375 degrees F.

Step 2

Trim crusts from each slice of potato bread.

Step 3

Wrap 1-2 slices bread around each hot dog, compressing the bread to form a tight wrap around all sides of the hot dog.

Step 4

Insert a skewer into one end of each hot dog. Carefully fry each bread-wrapped hot dog in the hot oil until heated through and golden-brown.

Step 5

Serve “corn dogs” with desired condiments such as ketchup and mustard.
