Slices Martin’s Potato Bread

Hot Dogs
Canola Oil, for frying
Wooden Skewers, for frying
Ketchup, for serving
Mustard, for serving
Directions
  1. In a tall pot or deep fryer, heat oil to 375 degrees F.

  2. Trim crusts from each slice of potato bread.

  3. Wrap 1-2 slices bread around each hot dog, compressing the bread to form a tight wrap around all sides of the hot dog.

  4. Insert a skewer into one end of each hot dog. Carefully fry each bread-wrapped hot dog in the hot oil until heated through and golden-brown.

  5. Serve “corn dogs” with desired condiments such as ketchup and mustard.
