8 Martin’s Long Potato Rolls
8 Hot Dogs
¾ Cup Mayonnaise
1 Clove Garlic, minced
1 Teaspoon Lemon Zest
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
¼ Teaspoon Salt
¼ Teaspoon Pepper
2 Cups Romaine Lettuce, shredded
2 Eggs, hardboiled and chopped
½ Cup Red Onion, finely chopped
2 Roma Tomatoes, chopped
¼ Cup Blue Cheese, crumbled
6 Bacon Slices, chopped
1 Avocado, chopped
2-3 Tablespoons Butter, melted
Serves: 8
Directions
Step 1
Prepare hot dogs by preferred cooking method.
Step 2
In a small bowl whisk together mayonnaise, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Step 3
Brush melted butter on the inside of each Martin’s Long Potato Roll.
Step 4
Lightly toast each of the Potato Rolls in the oven, on the grill, or in a skillet on the stove top.
Step 5
Spread prepared mayonnaise on the inside of each toasted Potato Roll.
Step 6
Add shredded romaine lettuce and place a hot dog on each.
Step 7
Top each hot dog with hardboiled egg, red onion, tomato, blue cheese, bacon, and avocado.
Step 8
Serve immediately and enjoy!
