Ham and Gruyere Swirl Bread Panini

4 Slices Martin’s Cinnamon-Raisin Swirl Potato Bread

4 Tablespoons Mayonnaise

6 Slices Deli Ham

4 Ounces Shredded Gruyere Cheese

2 Teaspoons Chipotle Mayonnaise*
(see instructions below)

Serves: 2


Step 1

Heat panini maker or medium skillet to medium-high heat.

Step 2

Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on one side of each slice of swirl bread. Then, lay out bread, mayonnaise side down.

Step 3

On two slices of bread, layer cheese, 3 slices of ham, and another layer of cheese. Top with chipotle mayonnaise and remaining piece of bread, butter side up.

*Note: To make Homemade Chipotle Mayo: combine ¾ cup mayonnaise, 2 chipotle chilies (chopped) + 1 tbsp. adobo sauce, and 1 tsp. fresh lime juice. Stir to combine; alternately, blend in a food processor for a smoother consistency. Store remainder in a sealed container.

Step 4

Cook in panini maker or skillet until outside is golden brown and cheese is melted.
