Greek Meatball Sliders with Tzatziki Sauce

Ingredients


Martin’s 12-Sliced Slider Potato Rolls

1 ½ Tablespoon Olive Oil

1 ½ Pound Ground Beef

1 ½ Pound Ground Pork

2/3 Teaspoon Ground Cumin

2/3 Teaspoon Ground Oregano

½ Tablespoon Red Pepper Flakes

½ Tablespoon Dried Parsley

1 ½ Tablespoon Fresh Dill, chopped

1 ½ Tablespoon Fresh Mint Leaves, chopped

1/3 Cup Finely Diced Red Onion

6 Cloves Fresh Garlic, minced

1 Tablespoon Salt

1/3 Teaspoon Black Pepper

For Tzatziki Sauce:

½ Cup Seedless Cucumber, peeled and diced

2 Cloves Fresh Garlic

1/3 Cup Fresh Dill

1 Cup Full-Fat Greek Yogurt

Juice of 1 Lemon

Salt, to taste

Toppings (optional):

Lettuce

Tomato

Onion

Green Pepper

Cucumber

Feta Cheese


Serves: 6

Directions


Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Prepare baking sheet by drizzling with olive oil or lining with parchment paper.

Step 2

Add ground beef, ground pork, fresh herbs and spices, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper to large mixing bowl. Mix with hands until well combined.

Step 3

Form meat mixture with hands into about 12 meat balls. Place on sheet pan.

Step 4

Place meatballs in oven and bake for 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

Step 5

Meanwhile, make tzatziki sauce by adding cucumber, garlic, and dill to food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add cucumber mixture to Greek yogurt and stir until well combined. Stir in lemon juice and salt and store in fridge until ready to serve.

Step 6

Serve meatball sliders warm with tzatziki sauce on 12-Sliced Slider Rolls with optional toppings.
