Cowboy Tater Tot Pull-Apart Sliders

35 Mins

Ingredients

2 Packs of Martin’s Sweet Party Potato Rolls (24 Mini Buns)

1 Pound Ground Beef

1/2 Cup Sweet/Honey Barbecue Sauce

1/2 Yellow Onion, diced

1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

1 Can (4-oz) Green Chiles

1 Teaspoon Yellow Mustard

Salt and Pepper, to taste

6 Slices Pepper Jack Cheese

Pickled Jalapeños

Tater Tots (Crown Style)

Serves: 12

Directions

Step 1

Remove Martin’s Sweet Party Potato Rolls from the bag, slice in half horizontally, and leave sitting out at room temperature for several hours (or overnight if possible) to let the bread become slightly dry.

Alternatively: Place sliced rolls in 300 degree oven for 5 to 10 minutes to slightly toast on both sides.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, if not already pre-heated from Step 1 (alternate instructions).

Step 3

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef to cook. While cooking, break up the ground beef with a utensil until it is fully browned.

Step 4

Meanwhile, as beef is cooking, dice the onion to desired size.

Step 5

Once beef has fully cooked, drain and then set aside.

Step 6

Add your diced onion to the skillet to sauté until translucent.

Step 7

While onion is sautéing, air fry tater tots according to instructions on the package. Cook the tater tots until they are crispy and golden brown.

Step 8

Once onion has fully sautéed, mix in the beef, barbecue sauce, garlic powder, green chiles, yellow mustard, salt and pepper to the skillet. Stir and simmer for five mins to allow the flavors to come together.

Step 9

Place your Martin’s Sweet Party Potato Rolls on a baking sheet and top each roll bottom with the barbecue sloppy joe, followed by the pepper jack cheese, pickled jalapeños, and crispy tater tots.

Step 10

Cover the sliders with the tops of Martin’s Sweet Party Potato Rolls. Loosely place foil over top and bake for 5-10 mins, or until cheese is melted.

Step 11

Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Western-inspired sliders!
