Beet Hummus & Veggie Toast
2 Slices Martin’s Old-Fashioned Real Butter Bread
1/4 Cup Beet Hummus, prepared
1/2 Carrot, shaved
2 Tablespoons Pickled Red Onion
2 Sugar Snap Peas
1/4 Teaspoon Black Sesame Seeds
Toast bread. Spread 2 tablespoons of beet hummus on each slice of toast. Top with shaved carrot, pickled onion, snap peas (in or out of the pods), and sesame seeds.
– If not using prepackaged beet hummus, prepare using a recipe such as this one.
– You can quick-pickle onions ahead of time and store them in the fridge. Try this recipe from www.thekitchn.com.
