Smoky Bacon Mushroom Dip

6-8 Ounces White Button Mushrooms, finely chopped

6 Slices Crisp Cooked Bacon, finely chopped (save some for garnish)

8 Ounces Cream Cheese, room temperature

1 Cup Mayonnaise

1 3/4 Cup Italian Cheese Blend (plus ¼ cup for the top, if desired)

3 Cloves Fresh Garlic, minced (or 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder)

1 1/2 Teaspoons Italian Seasoning

10 Slices Martin’s Old-Fashioned Real Butter Bread, quartered and toasted

Serves: 4-6


Step 1

Sauté mushrooms in a few tablespoons of butter.

Step 2

Place remaining ingredients into a mixing bowl. Add cooked mushrooms, stir well.

Step 3

Add to an oven safe dish and top with extra cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden. Alternately, you can broil for 1-2 minutes at the end until cheese is golden.

Step 4

Serve with toasted Martin’s Butter Bread “crackers.”
