8 Martin’s Long Potato Rolls

2 Tablespoons Butter

2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

2 Large Yellow Onions, sliced

8 Polish Sausage Links, sliced down the center

8 oz Cream Cheese, softened

Optional toppings:


Jalapeno, sliced

Serves: 8


Step 1

In medium skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat until butter melts. Add in sliced onion. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, stirring occasionally until onions turn brown and caramelize, about 20 minutes.

Step 2

Meanwhile, cook split sausages according to package directions.

Step 3

Once onions and sausages have cooked, spread about 1 ounce of cream cheese on each hot dog bun. Top with sausage, caramelized onions and any desired additional toppings. Serve immediately.
