Pulled Pork Hot Dog

8 Martin’s Long Potato Rolls

8 Hot Dogs

Preferred Barbecue Sauce

Pickle Chips

1-2 Cups Prepared Cole Slaw, for serving

Directions


Step 1: Prepare coleslaw using preferred method below:

Option 1: Vinegar-Based Coleslaw with Purple Cabbage

Ingredients:

    • 2 Cups Purple Cabbage, shredded
    • 2 Cups Green Cabbage, shredded
    • 2 Cup Carrots, shredded
    • 1/2 Cup Chopped Cilantro (loosely packed)
    • Juice from 1 Lemon
    • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
    • 2 Tablespoons Raw Honey
    • 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
    • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
    • 1 Teaspoon Fresh Minced Garlic (about 2 cloves)
    • 1 Pinch Black Pepper

Directions:

    1. In a large bowl, toss together cabbage, carrots, and cilantro until combined. In a separate bowl, mix together remaining ingredients until well combined. Pour over the cabbage mixture and toss until slaw is fully coated. Cover and chill until ready to serve.

Option 2: Creamy Coleslaw with Poppy Seed Dressing

Ingredients:

    • 2/3 Cup Mayonnaise
    • 1 1/2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
    • 1 Teaspoon Poppy Seeds
    • 3 Tablespoons White Sugar
    • 1/4 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
    • 1/8 Teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
    • 1 Bag (14-Oz.) Shredded Cabbage

Directions:

    1. In a large bowl, combine the mayo, apple cider vinegar, poppy seeds, sugar, salt and pepper. Dump cabbage into mayo mixture and stir to coat. Refrigerate until ready to eat. Best if made at least a few hours before serving.

 

Step 2

Cook the hot dogs using your favorite method, whether it be on the stove or outdoor grill.

Step 3

While the hot dogs are cooking, heat/reheat your preferred pulled pork.

Step 4

To assemble the hot dogs, place each hot dog on a Martin’s Long Potato Roll, top with pulled pork, barbecue sauce, cole slaw, and pickles.
