Made With
Sweet Party Potato RollsIngredients
1 Pack Martin’s Sweet Party Potato Rolls (12 rolls)
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
1 Pear, diced
1/4 Cup Blue Cheese, crumbled
1/4 Cup Walnuts, roughly chopped
1 Cup Arugula
Walnut & Blue Cheese Sauce:
1/3 Cup Olive Oil
1/2 Cup White Onion, diced
1/3 Cup Walnuts
2 Ounces Blue Cheese
1 Tablespoon Honey
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
Serves: 5-6
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut one sheet of Party Rolls (12 rolls) in half horizontally. Transfer both halves, cut-side-up to a prepared baking sheet. Brush with olive oil.
Step 2
Top with mozzarella, pear, blue cheese, and walnuts. Bake for 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and the edges are starting to lightly brown.
Step 3
Meanwhile, sauté onion in 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a small pan over medium high heat. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Step 4
In a food processor, combine sautéed onions, remaining olive oil, walnuts, blue cheese, honey, salt and pepper. Puree until smooth. Set aside. (If needed, add a bit of water to thin out sauce.)
Step 5
Once flatbread is finished baking, remove from oven and top with arugula. Drizzle on the walnut and blue cheese sauce. Serve.
