Sweet Party Potato RollsIngredients
2 Packs (12 Rolls each) Martin’s Sweet Party Potato Rolls, for serving
16 Ounces Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/4 Cup Milk
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Juice and Zest of Two Limes
Green Food Coloring, optional
Serves: 12
Directions
Step 1
To make sweet party roll dippers: slice the layer of rolls in half then flatten the top and bottom halves with a rolling pin. Cut the flattened rolls into 2-inch dippers. Layer the roll pieces on a baking sheet, spray with cooking spray, and bake at 350 F for 10 minutes, or until golden brown and lightly toasted. (Note: These can be prepared ahead of time and stored until ready to serve the dip.)
Step 2
In a large bowl blend together the cream cheese, sugar, milk, and vanilla using a hand mixer, until well combined.
Step 3
Mix in the juice and zest from both limes, and green food coloring if using (add only one drop of food coloring at a time to be sure to get the light green color). Serve immediately with sweet party roll dippers, or chill until ready to use.
