100% Whole Wheat Potato BreadIngredients
6 Slices Martin’s 100% Whole Wheat Potato Bread
3 Tablespoons Butter
3 Tablespoons Dijonnaise (2 tbsp. Mayonnaise + 1 tbsp. Dijon Mustard)
1 Cup Havarti cheese, shredded
1 Cup Gouda cheese, shredded
12 Thinly Sliced Smoked Turkey
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Crumbled Bacon, for topping
Scallions, chopped, for topping
1-2 Tablespoons Hot Honey, to taste
Serves: 4
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Step 2
Spread butter evenly on one side of each Martin’s Whole Wheat slice. Lay bread slices on baking pan with buttered sides down.
Step 3
Spread thin layer of Dijonnaise on each slice of bread. Top with shredded cheese and two slices of turkey. Add a little more cheese on top to help hold it all together.
Step 4
Toast in the oven for 6-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted and golden brown.
Step 5
Grind black pepper over each piece of toast. Add bacon, scallions, and a generous drizzle of hot honey.
