Hot Cross Buns

Ingredients


12 Martin’s Dinner Potato Rolls

1 Egg Yolk

2 Tablespoons Water

1/2 Cup Confectioners' Sugar

1/4 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

2 Teaspoons Milk

3/4 Cup Dried Currants

1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon


Directions


Step 1

Place rolls in a 9 x 12 inch pan.

Step 2

Mix egg yolk and 2 tablespoons water. Brush on rolls.

Step 3

Bake at 350 degrees F for 5-7 minutes, or until golden. Remove from pan immediately and cool on wire rack.

Step 4

To make crosses: mix together confectioners’ sugar, vanilla, and milk. Brush an X on each cooled bun.

Step 5

Top with cinnamon and dried currants, if desired.
