Made With
Sweet Dinner Potato RollsIngredients
3 Cups (4 Rolls) Martin’s Dinner Potato Rolls, cubed
3 Eggs
1 1/2 Cups Whole Milk
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Ginger
1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1/8 Teaspoon Cloves
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
For Serving: Vanilla Ice Cream; Whipped Cream; Caramel Sauce
Serves: 10
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 1 ½-quart (or 9-inch square) baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
Step 2
Spread bread cubes on a baking sheet and toast lightly in the oven until dry and crusty (but not browned) – about 5 minutes.
Step 3
While the bread is in the oven, prepare the liquid ingredients. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
Step 4
Place bread cubes in the prepared dish. Pour egg mixture over bread cubes. Sprinkle top with brown sugar.
Step 5
Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until the top is light golden brown and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Serve warm, topping with ice cream, whipped cream, or caramel sauce.
