6 Martin’s Slider Potato Rolls
1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter, softened
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon Dried Parsley
1 Pound Ground Beef
1/2 Cup Diced Onion
1/8 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
3/4 Cup Ketchup
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tablespoon Light Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Yellow Mustard
1 Teaspoon Salt, plus more to taste
Pepper, to taste
Shredded Cheese
Serves: 4-6
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
Split apart the Slider Potato Rolls and place onto the lined baking sheet, cut side up. Place in oven for 5 minutes to lightly toast
Step 3
In a small bowl, combine the butter, parsley, 1 tsp garlic powder, and a pinch of salt.
Step 4
Spread the butter mixture over the lightly toasted rolls and set aside while you make the sloppy joe filling.
Step 5
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, onion, and remaining garlic powder until the meat is no longer pink. Drain grease.
Step 6
Whisk together the remaining ingredients to make the sauce. Add to the skillet with the beef, onion, and garlic.
Step 7
Simmer uncovered over low heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring regularly, until the mixture reaches desired consistency.
Step 8
Divide the sloppy joe mixture between the rolls and top with cheese.
Step 9
Bake for 12-14 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve warm.
