Made With
Sandwich Potato RollsIngredients
4 Martin’s Sandwich Potato Rolls
2 Pounds Ground Chuck
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoons Butter
12 Slices American Cheese
12 Slices Bacon
¼ Cup Mayonnaise
¼ Cup Ketchup
Serves: 4
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Place bacon on baking sheet with a wire rack. Bake for about 12 to 15 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Remove from oven and set aside.
Step 3
Place beef on cutting board or piece wax paper. Cover with wax paper and roll beef into a sheet about ½-inch thick using a rolling pin. Gently cut 8 patties from rolled-out beef.
Step 4
Place patties on a grill or in a grill pan over medium-high heat. Season burgers with salt. When grill side of burger is browned, flip and cook other side. This should take about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from heat.
Step 5
Spread butter on the inside of each Sandwich Roll. Toast buns on the grill or grill pan until lightly browned.
Step 6
To assemble the burger, place in the following order: burger patty, a slice of cheese, bacon slices, burger patty, and another slice of cheese. Top with more bacon, ketchup, and mayonnaise. Close bun and serve immediately.
