Martin’s 100% Whole Wheat Potato Bread

Martin's Old-Fashioned Real Butter Bread

Deli Bologna

White American Cheese

Yellow American Cheese

Green Leaf Lettuce

3 Round Cucumber Slices

12 Slivers of Carrots

3 Blueberries

Directions


Cat Sandwich:

  1. Cut half circle on top of Martin’s 100% Whole Wheat Potato Bread using a knife or cookie cutter to form the cat’s head and ears.

Note: This can be made simply as “food art” with just a single layer of bread, or as a sandwich. To form as a sandwich, just layer desired toppings, such as bologna and cheese, between two slices of bread before cutting into the shape.

  1. Top bread with the following: an oval of cheese for the nose, two triangles of cheese for the ears, two slivers of cucumber for the eyebrows, six slivers of carrot for the whiskers, one triangle of carrot for the nose, and a mouth drawn with food-safe marker.

Mouse Sandwich:

  1. Toast two slices of Martin’s Old-Fashioned Real Butter Bread. Cut toast, bologna, and cheese into a circle.
  2. Assemble sandwich by placing lettuce, cheese, and bologna on bottom layer of bread. Before adding the top layer of bread, position the ears made of cucumber slices with a piece of yellow cheese at the top of the mouse’s head. Add top slice of bread.
