Bacon & Avocado Grilled Cheese

2 Slices Martin’s 100% Whole Wheat Potato Bread

2 Slices Bacon

1 Cup cheddar jack cheese, shredded

1/2 Medium avocado, sliced, room temperature

1 Tablespoon butter, room temperature

Serves: 1


Step 1

Cook the bacon until crispy and set aside to drain on paper towels.

Step 2

Butter one side of each slice of Martin’s Potato Bread.

Step 3

Sprinkle half of the cheese onto the unbuttered side of one slice of bread.

Step 4

Place the bacon and guacamole on top of the cheese.

Step 5

Top with the remaining cheese and remaining slice of bread, butter side up.

Step 6

Grill over medium heat until golden brown and the cheese has melted, about 2 minutes per side.
