Vegetable Oil

1/2 Cup Sugar

2 Tablespoons Ground Cinnamon

6 Slices Martin’s Potato Bread, lightly toasted

Strawberry Jelly

Serves: 6


Step 1

Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil to 365°F in a deep skillet.

Step 2

Mix sugar and cinnamon on a plate.

Step 3

Cut bread into sticks and fry until golden, about 1 minute.

Step 4

Drain on paper towels, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar while still hot.

Step 5

Serve with strawberry jelly as “ketchup.”
