More than a Meal: Easter

April 10, 2017
2 min. read

Easter is more than a holiday. It is more than egg hunts and chocolate bunnies; more than decorations and pastels; more than flowers, candies, and sweets. Easter is even more than a time to spend with family, enjoy a nice dinner together, or spend time in church.

Easter is all of these things, but also so much more. And while we hope you’ll have a chance to enjoy each of the above activities, we also hope you are able to experience the full joy of Easter.

Easter in a nutshell is about redemption: through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are redeemed—we receive new life, a fresh start. What a joyous thought!

Reflect on this message while you celebrate the holiday. As you race around the yard or dye Easter eggs, remember: it’s more than just a tradition. As you sit around the table with family enjoying some ham or dinner rolls, remember: it’s more than just a meal.

It’s so much more.
