Hotdog Burnt End Sliders

1 Hour 45 Minutes

Ingredients

8 hotdogs

1 Tbsp mustard

1 Tbsp BBQ Rub or seasoning of your choice

1 Cup BBQ sauce

1 Tbsp brown sugar

6 Tbsp butter, divided

1 pack Martin’s Sweet Dinner Rolls

2 cloves garlic, smashed

1/2 Tbsp parsley

1/4 tsp chili flakes

2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese

Yield: 12 Sliders

Directions

Step 1

Rub hotdogs in mustard and seasoning. Smoke at 250 degrees for one hour. Remove from the grill, cut in half, then place in a grill safe pan with the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and 4 tbsp of butter. Increase smoker temp to 350 degrees and cook for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

Step 2

Remove the Potato Rolls from the packaging and slice each bun half way down the middle, like a hotdog bun. Melt remaining butter and add garlic, chili flakes, and parsley. Brush onto the rolls and top with Parmesan cheese. Place the rolls into the smoker (or oven) for 10 minutes.

Step 3

When the rolls are golden brown, it’s time to assemble. Place one hotdog in the center of each roll. Serve with mustard, pickles, and onions.
