World Famous | Resource Page
With nearly 200 countries in the world, it’s no wonder there is so much diversity in terms of culture, tradition, and cuisine. While Martin’s may be an American-based company, we appreciate the distinct characteristics that make each country unique.
Make it World Famous
Throughout the month of August, we will be hosting a recipe photo challenge through Instagram, called “Make it World Famous.” The goal is to celebrate diverse cultures by collecting international recipes submitted by YOU! We invite you to join us in sharing your culture.
To participate, post a picture of your recipe creation to Instagram with the tags @potatorolls and #WorldFamous, being sure to tell us in the caption which country your recipe is representing. You can also enter using our recipe entry form here. Then we’ll choose a few recipes to be featured on Martin’s website and social media pages. (You could become famous)!
Below is a list of 15 countries to choose from in submitting your recipe. If your home or favorite country isn’t listed here, that’s okay, just be sure to mention which you are submitting.
- Great Britain
- South Africa
To kick off the event, we’ve created 8 international recipes (all using Martin’s Potato Rolls and Bread, of course). Take a look through each below, try them out, and get inspired!
Brazil - Churrasco & Chimichurri Sandwich
France - French Onion Soup
Germany - Pork & Sauerkraut Sandwich
India - Tandoori Chicken Sandwich
Italy - Bruschetta
Japan - Ahi Tuna Avocado Toasts
Spain -Bocadillo Bites
While we only distribute our bread and roll products for retail use regionally in the United States, we do work with various distributors and exporters to offer our products to restaurants and institutions internationally.
Take a look at the below map to see where Martin’s is currently being exported internationally. If you own a restaurant or institution and are interested in finding out more about Martin’s, please visit our Food Service page at http://potatorolls.com/foodservice.
