As you know, Father’s Day was this past weekend, so this week’s Throwback Thursday is focused on fathers–specifically the fathers in the Martin family. Many people see Lloyd Martin, Jim Martin, and even 3rd-generation Tony and Joe Martin as hard-working businessmen. And they are. However, in their lives, family comes first!
Whether they are (as in these pictures) at the lake, in a camper, at the zoo posing with gorillas, or just spending time together reading or playing at home, the Martin men know that their job as fathers is the most important job they’ll ever have.
We hope you enjoy the following pictures, and we encourage you that, if you’re a father, please spend time with your kids. It means more than you’ll ever know. And, if you’re not a father, look around to see if there are kids around you who could use a mentor. And one final thing, we all have father-figures in our lives—grandfathers, coaches, teachers, mentors—who have invested in our lives. We hope that you’ll take the time to let them know how much they mean to you and thank them for their love and support.
