Easter Sunday is nearly here! Easter is a time to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the importance of that message in our lives today. We do this by spending time with friends, family, and community, and by participating in fun activities and traditions.
The message of Easter can be seen all around us – especially in the changing of the season. As winter makes way for spring, flowers and trees begin to blossom. These signs of growth and renewal are just like the message of the cross. So whether you celebrate Easter by going to church, hunting for eggs, or decorating with flowers, chicks, and bunnies; you can still appreciate the symbols of new life found at Eastertime.

Traditional Easter Dinner
Try this recipe for pineapple and apricot preserves-glazed ham to go along with your favorite side dishes, such as scalloped potatoes and oven-roasted asparagus. And don’t forget the Martin’s Dinner Potato Rolls!
Hot Cross Buns
This dish is a classic Easter tradition. Usually baked with dried currants and spices and etched with an icing cross, hot cross buns are a reminder of the Easter resurrection story. Our version uses Martin’s Dinner Potato Rolls; just bake until golden, top with an icing cross, and sprinkle with cinnamon and currants if you wish.
Ham, Asparagus, and Cheese Strata
Celebrate the season with a delicious brunch! This savory strata includes flavors like asparagus, gruyere, onion, chives, ham, and cubed Martin’s Potato Bread, all topped off with some sunny eggs.
