Ingredients


8 Slices of Martin’s Potato Bread

3 lb Eye of Round Beef Roast

1 Tsp Seasoned Salt

1 Tsp Pepper

1 Tsp Onion Powder

1 Tsp Garlic Powder

3 ½ Cups Water

18 oz Beef Gravy


Serves: 8

Directions


Step 1

Place the roast into a roasting pan (or slow cooker).

Step 2

Sprinkle seasoned salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder on to the beef.

Step 3

Cover beef with water and roast at 425 degrees for an hour reaching an internal temperature of 130-140°F before resting. (Alternatively, you can cook in a slow cooker on high for 4 to 5 hours depending on your desired tenderness).

Step 4

When the cooking time is done, remove the roast and place on to a plate, shred meat, discard any fat.  Cover with foil to keep warm.

Step 5

Warm gravy.

Step 6

Serve the shredded beef and gravy over Martin’s Potato Bread with mashed potatoes and your favorite vegetable.
