Yields: 1/3 Cup

Directions

Step 1

Cook tomatoes in a pot with ½ cup of water until they are soft and skins are falling off. Use immersion blender to juice the tomatoes.

Step 2

Pour juice mixture through strainer to remove seeds and skins. Add strained juice back into pot.

Step 3

Add all of the remaining ingredients to a saucepan and mix together.

Step 4

Bring the mixture to a boil.

Step 5

Reduce the heat and let the ketchup simmer for 30-45 minutes until desired thickness, stir occasionally. (The longer that you cook it, the thicker it will get.)

Step 6

Let the ketchup cool and store in the fridge until you’re ready to eat it.

Step 7

Serve with a homemade burger on Martin’s Sandwich Potato Rolls with a side of fries.
