Happy American Heart Month! February is all about heart health, which seems fitting given that we just celebrated Valentine’s Day. This month is a great time to focus on heart-healthy tips and recipes.
Check out our previous blog post on Heart Healthy Foods for some health tips and reminders, as well as a glossary of nutrients to look for such as Omega-3, Vitamin B, and fiber. This hearty bowl of chili incorporates a long list of great flavors, but takes hardly any preparation. With five kinds of beans, canned tomatoes, peppers, kale, and plenty of spices, even meat-lovers with appreciate this delicious, vegetarian dish.
