Pound Thinly-Sliced Ham

Teaspoon Fresh Rosemary, finely chopped

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13″ baking dish with some butter and set aside.

  2. Arrange 6 slices of Cinnamon Raisin Butter Bread along the bottom of the baking dish.

  3. Top each slice of bread with ham and a slice of American cheese. Top with remaining 6 slices of bread to form sandwiches.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, half & half, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, rosemary, and a pinch of salt. Pour mixture over casserole and lightly press with your finger tips to ensure all the bread is soaked with the mixture.

  5. Place a pat of butter on top of each sandwich.

  6. Bake at 350 F for 35-40 minutes or until the egg is cooked and the cheese is melted. Let cool for 5-10 minutes until firm enough to handle. Serve warm.
