Decadent Cinnamon-Sugar Swirl French Toast
6 Slices Martin’s Cinnamon-Sugar Swirl Potato Bread
1 Egg Yolk, room temperature
1/2 Cup Heavy Cream, room temperature
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Tablespoon Butter
Optional toppings such as maple syrup, whipped cream, or powdered sugar
Whisk together egg yolk, cream, and vanilla extract in a shallow baking dish.
Preheat griddle to 300 degrees F.
Spread butter on griddle and allow to melt.
Dip one slice of Swirl Bread into the custard mixture, flipping quickly to coat each side. (Do not allow bread to soak.) Add to griddle. Repeat with remaining bread slices.
Cook French toast 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
Remove from heat and serve immediately, with additional toppings as desired.
